Letizia Rivera is a trained theatre practitioner with extensive experience in artistic production and program curation. She currently serves as the Artistic Director of Neues Schauspiel Leipzig, where she shapes the theatre’s creative vision and develops collaborative projects with local and international artists.

Previously, she spent six years at English Theatre Leipzig, including as Chairperson and Producing Director (2022–2025). In this role, she conceived, among others, New Voices / Neue Stimmen, a city-funded platform for emerging international artists, and together with Josiane Segar developed the interdisciplinary and community-based programs AnthropoScene, VielfalTheater, and Playhouse.

As an Artistic Advisor, Letizia brings expertise in cross-cultural collaboration, funding strategy, and independent practice.
